NRA BASIC PISTOL
The NRA basic pistol course is a two phase course, the first being done online at your speed and on your schedule. The second phase is completed at a range and usually takes between four to six hours depending on how well you progress. A live instructor will be available throughout the first phase for questions.
The course will cover safety, how a pistol and revolver work, shooting fundamentals, range qualification and a lot more. Upon successful completion, you will receive a certificate from the NRA certifying your completion of the course. To sign up for phase one of the course, follow the link below. BASIC RIFLE SHOOTING COURSE
This course teaches the basic knowledge, skills and attitude necessary for the safe use of a rifle in target shooting. This course is at least eight hours long and includes classroom and range time learning to shoot rifles. Students learn NRA’s rules for safe gun handling, rifle parts and operation, ammunition, shooting fundamentals, range rules, shooting from the bench rest, prone, sitting, standing and kneeling positions, cleaning and continued opportunities for skill development. Students will receive the Basics of Rifle Shooting handbook, NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure, Winchester/NRA Marksmanship Qualification booklet, take a Basics of Rifle Shooting Student Examination, and receive a course completion certificate.

- Fees can be paid any time prior to training. We can accept Visa and MasterCard or cash on the day of training.
- The NRA charges $60 for the Basic Pistol Phase one course, this is paid directly to the NRA through the site above
