BIANNUAL REQUALIFICATION
For current Level 3 Security officers who require the biannual requalification. The requalification process is actually a two-part process. There is an online class that must be completed before you can proceed with the firearms qualification. There has been some confusion recently about what needs to be completed, the form that is provided to DPS / TOPS is called the “Firearms Requalification” PSP31. This form requires the classroom portion to be completed as well as the firearms qualification. Once the required training is complete, we will meet on the range where we will conduct a refresher on Personal tactics, Expandable Baton use, OC spray refresher, and the firearms qualification. We place a strong focus on your firearms skills prior to the qualification. Our firearms training course exceeds what is required by DPS. We conduct a “tune up” on your fundamentals, focus on proper holster use and the qualification. We include the Shotgun qualification at no additional cost.
If you are looking for a more extensive firearms training tailored towards security officers, contact us about our Armed Guardian or Defensive Pistol course.
