PISTOL ONE
This 90 minute course is for the first time pistol owner or those with limited experience
Typical classes cover the following:
- Range orientation, range commands
- Firearms Safety
- Basic pistol operation and function
- Ammunition components and choices
- Shooting fundamentals
- Proper reloads
- We also discuss legal issues and what to expect if you are forced to use the firearm to defend yourself or others.
We take new students from firing their first shots to shooting 8-inch groups or better, reloading the handgun and correcting common first-time shooter issues.
This course can be done with a semi-auto handgun or revolver
Our goal upon completion is to have the student Safe, somewhat proficient and comfortable handling their handgun.
Students will need: a handgun (rentals are available through the range), Approximately 100 rounds of ammunition, eye and ear protection
