AR15 RIFLE TRAINING COURSE OVERVIEW:
Class duration: 90Min
The AR15 class is for students who have limited or no experience with the AR15 platform. The class is conducted entirely on the range. Students will be instructed using a demonstration method. We will work directly with students on the shooting line to ensure shooter problems are addressed and safety is maintained at all times.
Students will be given instruction on:
- Range orientation, range commands
- Safety
- Rifle parts nomenclature
- Basic lesson on the ballistics of the 223/5.56 round
- Basic rifle operation
- Shooting fundamentals
- Loading and unloading the rifle
- Basic zero of the rifle
- Engaging targets
The goal of this course is for students to go from first shots to shooting groups at up to 100 yards.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED FOR THE COURSE:
- Rifle with sights or optics (with instruction manual)
- At least 2 magazines
- Eye and hearing protection
- At lease 100 rounds of ammunition
- Pen and paper to take notes if desired.

SHOTGUN COURSE OVERVIEW:
Class duration: 90 min
The class is conducted entirely on the range and is designed for students who have limited or no experience with the Shotgun. Students can train with semi auto or pump Shotguns. Students will be instructed using a demonstration method. Instructors will work directly with students on the shooting line to ensure shooter problems are addressed and safety is maintained at all times. During the course, students will be given the opportunity to engage different types of targets using different types of shotgun ammunition.
Students will be given instruction on:
- Range orientation, range commands
- Safety
- Shotgun parts nomenclature
- Types of ammunition available
- Basic Shotgun operation
- Shooting fundamentals
- Proper reloads
The goal of this course is to have the student demonstrate the ability to safely load, engage targets, safely reload and unload.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED FOR THE COURSE:
- Shotgun (rentals are available at the range)
- At least 115 rounds of ammunition (100 rounds of #7 or 8 birdshot, 5 rounds of slugs, 10 rounds of #00)
- Eye and hearing protection
- Pen and paper to take notes if desired
